Antoine Jobard

Stephen Brook

Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010

Ripe oaky nose, rich and powerful with a hint of hazelnuts. Rich, full-bodied, quite powerful, concentrated and taut, with good weight of fruit and some spice and grainy phenolic tones from the oak. This needs time but has personality and promises considerable complexity. Long nutty finish.

Gearoid Devaney

Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010

The palate is dominated by the oak but there are lots of stone fruits underneath. The palate is full of further stone fruits and has good acid, and body. The finish is long and complex.

Steven Spurrier

Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010

Rich, quite phenolic nose. Equally rich on the palate, acidity balances the fruit, but this is in a broad, open style, good, impressive, but no great potential complexity long term.
