Domaine Chanson

Stephen Brook

Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010

Discreetly oaky, appley nose. Broad, rich, quite powerful, but tastes more like Charmes than Perrieres. Nonetheless a good and concentrated wine, with firm acidity, a fine-grained texture, and considerable drive and persistence. Has a long and almost chewy finish.

Gearoid Devaney

Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010

Closed nose but good on the palate. Underneath the oak there are stone fruits and high acid to give the wine a lift, and it has a long finish.

Steven Spurrier

Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010

Quite rich nose, oak still present and white flowers still there. Good firm fruit with quite a mineral/stony finish, good ripeness and good length, and a very good future.
