Stephen Brook

Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010

Broad appley nose, a bit subdued. Rich fruit on the palate, but is cut by assertive acidity that’s quite citric. Not harmonious yet but clearly youthful. Long, vigorous, tangy finish.

Gearoid Devaney

Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010

Quite closed on the nose, oak dominating slightly. The palate has good weight and the struture is there, creamy edges with a saline, mineral backbone.

Steven Spurrier

Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010

Floral, white and yellow flowers nose. Vibrant and lifted fruit, and good acidity. Slightly stony, white soil finish, elegant rather than fleshy, with citrus notes evident. A very attractive wine in a leaner style.
