Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010

Firm nutty oaky nose, quite pungent. Rich, suave, rounded, a fruit-forward style despite the oak; the acidity is modest and the palate lacks vigour and drive. Medium length, oaky finish.

Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010

Ripe peach and creamy oak. The palate is rich, powerful but elegant. The oak is strong but there is lots of minerality and acid to give the wine a refreshing, long finish.

Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010

Really quite lemony, fresh herbs and dry honey nose overlaid by green apple. Good depth of fruit and very good length, definite terroir influence and lifted fruit on the finish. A fine, classy wine; very elegant for Charmes.
