Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010

Firm apricot nose. Fairly rich, sleek, concentrated, a bit understated but none the worse for that. The acidity is assertive and needs time to settle down, but this shows finesse and flair and has good length.

Gearoid Devaney

Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010

Stone fruits and wet stone with a toasty oak note on the nose. Clean and mineral on the palate, with refeshing acid and textured finish; lots of personality.

Steven Spurrier

Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010

Rich and naturally sweet flavours, a bit broad and the acidity balances the richness, but the wine is still out of joint. It will remain rich and evolve well, but not gain much complexity.
