Charmes
Manufacturer:

Stephen Brook
Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010
Ripe, stylish appley nose. Rich, spicy, tight and concentrated, with a fine acidic backbone that gives zest and persistence. Not very nuanced now, but needs time to fill out. Good length, citric finish.

Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010
Quite tight on the nose; the oak is prominent here. The palate is concentrated and there are minerals underneath the oak and peachy fruit. The acid is good and the finish is long.

Steven Spurrier
Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010
Ripe peaches and pears on the nose, dry herbs and dry honey. Long fruit flavours and fine back-up of acidity. Lots of depth and lots of character to come out, and will last well.
