Chimney Rock

Stephen Brook

Tasting: Napa & Sonoma Cabernet Sauvignon

Oaky black fruits nose with a light savoury tone. Rich, full-bodied, has good weight of fruit and ripe tannins. Imposing but not extracted, and has good acidity and persistence and a very attractive texture. Some coffee tones from the oak on the finish, giving some complexity. Long.

Yohann Jousselin MS

Tasting: Napa & Sonoma Cabernet Sauvignon

Elegant nose and attack but then the alcohol takes over. Lots of sweet fruit aromas. Hint of mint and grass. Alcohol too high.

David Motion

Tasting: Napa & Sonoma Cabernet Sauvignon

Malted hot chocolate, brambles. Plenty of information in the mouth. Oak is present, but plenty of exuberant fruit to balance. Needs time.
