Stephen Brook

Tasting: Napa & Sonoma Cabernet Sauvignon

Opaque red. Dumb black fruits nose. Very rich, opulent, powerful, a bit tarry, rugged mountain fruit, with chewy tannins and a certain earthiness. But it has terrific weight of fruit and some finesse too. Good length, with a firm finish. Will go the distance.

Tasting: Napa & Sonoma Cabernet Sauvignon

A lovely wine. Intense, showing ripe dark fruit aromas followed by some tobacco, earth and chocolate aromas. The alcohol is medium. This wine offers great complexity.

Tasting: Napa & Sonoma Cabernet Sauvignon

Spiced bramble jam. A very focused core of blue-black fruit in the middle. Long.
