Tasting: Napa & Sonoma Cabernet Sauvignon

Lush plum and black cherry nose with a light savoury tone. Rich but not heavy, has a certain limpidity and sufficient acidity to carry the wine through to the finish,. A touch peppery, probably from the alcohol, and I don’t detect much complexity. But the tannins are present and not extracted, and the wine is balanced, so should age well.

Tasting: Napa & Sonoma Cabernet Sauvignon

A lovely subtle Cabernet, the tannins are firm but well integrated. The alcohol is generous but well balanced and also has great acidity. The wine shows great complexity and a long finish.

Tasting: Napa & Sonoma Cabernet Sauvignon

Cloves, aniseed, vanilla in the nose. Deep, rich, lush in the mouth. Very fleshy. Hopefully all elements will soften over time.
