Château Croizet-Bages, Pauillac, 5ème Cru Classé, 2009

Good, solid, slightly earthy blackcurrant fruit. Chocolatey and ripe on the palate. Very rich, broad and succulent – highly concentrated, but good acidity gives it flair and verve. Quite a bracing style, with grip and backbone.
