Tasting: Barolo 2009

Delicate and persistent aromas of dried flowers, sweet spices and ripe cherries. Savoury, intense and tasty mid-palate with rich and ripe tannins.

Ian D'Agata

Tasting: Barolo 2009

Fresh, very balanced, with almost decadently ripe, red cherry, marzipan, cinnamon on the nose. Touch hot on the fleshy smooth back. Great stuff. A warmer styled wine.

Michael Garner

Tasting: Barolo 2009

Closed at first but with emerging aromas of black fruits and spice. Hint of cassis. Round and fleshy but rather severe finish. Roasted peppers and cloves. Typical?
