Stephen Brook

Tasting: Crozes-Hermitage 2010

Closed nose. Broad, creamy, full-bodied, weighty and concentrated, has a sauvage character and a very peppery mid-palate. Impressive depth of fruit and bags of personality, with intensity and swagger. Good length.

Simon Field MW

Tasting: Crozes-Hermitage 2010

Deep generous colour, fulsome nose of creme de cassis and late-summer gardens; palate has poise, definition and elegance, with fruit character preserved but held in check by clean acidity, a hint of mocha and chocolate and firm tannins.

John Livingstone-Learmonth

Tasting: Crozes-Hermitage 2010

Blackberry, generous aroma, plenty of depth, some coffee notes to rev it up. Black stone fruit flavour with a gummy tannin presence, Muscular Crozes, beefy, a big vintage statement. For lovers of scaled wines. Ample across palate end. Decant.
