Maior de Mendoza, Fulget, Rias Baixas, Galicia, 2011

Ferran Centelles

Tasting: Albariño

Clean and peachy on the nose, with a light refreshing green fruit palate and crisp acidity. Very easy to drink. True of its origins.

John Radford

Tasting: Albariño

Very pale straw, hint of green, classic grassy Albariño scents. Good, crisp, greengage fruit on fore, droops a bit on the mid (needs a bit more bottle age?) but fights back on the finish, good potential

Sarah Jane Evans MW

Tasting: Albariño

Glinting lemon green, slight suspension – not entirely clear. Vibrant aromatics: green apple, ripe pear, banana, citrus lift. Initial attack is equally vibrant: taut tense freshness, develops to supple passion fruit, grapefruit zestiness, punchy, fresh finish.
