Las Chorlas, Arlanza, Spain 2013

  • Grape Variety: Tempranillo

A great value alternative to Ribera del Duero from a 'forgotten' region, say our experts...

Las Chorlas 2013

Arlanza fell out of fashion due to industrialisation, but the region has some of the oldest vines in Spain. This 100% Tempranillo has a dense forest fruit nose with real savoury intensity.

The full-bodied palate is bursting with crunchy, spicy black berries – perfect for roast lamb. A great alternative to Ribera del Duero, at a fraction of the cost.
