Vivien Roussignol, Les Païssels, Saint-Chinian, Languedoc-Roussillon, 2011

Les Païssels

  • Drink: 2013 - 2016

Vivian Roussignol

Rosemary George

Tasting: Languedoc

Quite deep colour. Some red fruit spice with a grip of supple tannins. Sunshine in a glass with some garrigues.

Andrew Jefford

Tasting: Languedoc

Dense black-red. Aromatically light, sweet and cherryish, with great lifted charm. A floral touch, too. On the palate, this is very ripe;indeed almost porty, but has excellent depth, texture and and old-vine authority. Lovely palate width, drive and purity. Lots of perfume on the aftertaste too.Impressive wine.

Simon Taylor

Tasting: Languedoc

Very rich – lush oak overlay. Plenty of concentrated fruit behind, with a suggestion of mint. Youthful and dramatic+H65
