Tasting: Saint Joseph 2010

Lush spicy blueberry nose, has charm and vigour. Rich and fleshy, a broad sumptuous style, a touch low on acidity, but with fine density of fruit and an attractive spiciness. Forward but seems to have the structure to age. Quite good length.

Tasting: Saint Joseph 2010

Deep colour and an immediately attractive summer pudding nose. A good start. A good finish too and the middle is not without interest; poised tannins and clean acidity underwrite the ripe fruit and the ensemble is perfectly poised for early uncomplicated drinking.

Tasting: Saint Joseph 2010

Elegant bouquet, promising: a beguiling berry fruit laced with mild oak, all in order. The palate connects well to the nose, offers stylish, scented black fruit with lucid flow and appeal. Oak shows up on the end, adding extra depth. Finesse in good evidence here, stylish St. Joseph that conveys the finesse of the granite and a very likeable precision. The fuit comes with flair. Excellent balance.
