  • Grape Variety: Cabernet Sauvignon
  • Drink: 2012 - 2018

Roger Jones

Tasting: Coonawarra & Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon

Toasty, aromatic nose with some nice jam conserve nuances. Very delicate flavours, hints of vanilla and berries and autumnal wild flowers, some violets too. Good tannin structure to allow it to age gracefully for a very long time, of course it can be drunk sooner but please wait.

Pierre Mansour

Tasting: Coonawarra & Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon

Deep. Elegant, sophisticated nose, lovely cabernet cedar fruit. Fine yet powerful palate, chewy ripe tannins, big bold finish, long, impressive fruit. A successful blockbuster style that leaves you impressed.

Anthony Rose

Tasting: Coonawarra & Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon

Good depth of colour showing only the faintest sign of ageing, nice liquorice, black cherry, toasty oak and cola-spice on the nose, fine fruit concentration with lots of opulent cassis and blackberry richness. Nicely tarted up with acidity to keep it fresh but bringing the necessary brightness and balance.
