From just outside Bierzo in Galicia, this is made from the Mencía grape and by one of the few biodynamic producers in the area. It sees no oak, meaning the deep, bright, meaty black fruit shines, balancing power and charm. It’s a peculiar style but gives a lot of pleasure. Only 1,200 bottles were made.
