Jane Anson re-tastes Cos Labory 2014 two years after its emergence at en primeur in Bordeaux.
Again proof that in the northern Médoc there are some over-performers in 2014. This has a lovely density and depth to it and a pretty floral frame hidden underneath the cassis fruits. Combines the austerity and power of St Estèphe clay soils with elegance, subtlety and complexity. A real success for this estate.

Original Bordeaux en primeur rating by Steven Spurrier:
Lovely summer black fruits on the nose and a smooth-textured palate with good acidity and tannins to back it up. Always a good St-Estèphe.
