Stephen Brook

Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010

Dense, leathery nose. Rich, suave, juicy, ample fruit here and good concentration as well as some zesty acidity. This isn’t subtle but it has vigour and structure and good grip on the finish, which is quite chocolaty. Good length.

Ronan Sayburn MS

Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010

Open ripe forward nose, round ripe sweet palate, rich christmas cake fruit, blackcurrant and cedar box, solid fruit but approachable now. Spicey full wet gravel finish.

Steven Spurrier

Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010

Well-concentrated blackcurrant fruit on the nose, very good natural ripeness, good fleshy, savoury fruit on the palate, natural sweetness and very good length with a slight St Estephe leatheriness, good future.
