Stephen Brook

Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010

Reserved tarry nose. Rich but thick (like Tory ministers), chewy and almost austere, with only moderate acidity. A bit extracted, as it lacks a little nuance and purity of fruit. Moderate acidity and length.

Ronan Sayburn MS

Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010

Very pure, deep dark blackcurrant nose, ridgid pure fruit on palate, tobacco and currants, solid and elegant

Steven Spurrier

Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010

Quite fragrant and nicely concentrated blackcurrant fruit on the nose, fine expression of ripe Cabernet fruit on the palate and lots of grip and vigour with no loss of elegance, will be a very good wine.
