Dalrymple, Pipers River, Tasmania, 2011

  • Grape Variety: Pinot Noir
  • Drink: 2013 - 2030

Andrew Jefford

Tasting: Tasmania & Victoria Pinot Noir

Clear red. Slightly reduced to smell. Smooth, light, tangy flavours. Fair.

Roger Jones

Tasting: Tasmania & Victoria Pinot Noir

Truffled nose, some rhubarb, dry on the palate with very clean fruit. Very fine wine leaving a silky palate with delicate burst of berries, perfect match for a robust fish dish such as wild sea bass with morels.

Alessandro Marchesan

Tasting: Tasmania & Victoria Pinot Noir

Intense, fruit-driven nose of raspberries and sweet vanilla oak. Wonderful structure and texture, with juicy tannins and a long, creamy, strawberry aftertaste. Needs time for the oak to integrate but will develop into a great wine.
