Tenuta Trerose, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva 2012

The Co-op’s range of own- and producer-label Italian wines is impressive, not least this one from Trerose. An estate near the town of Montepulciano, 55 hectares of the 76 under vine are dedicated to Vino Nobile. It spends 18 months in oak, which has mellowed with age, integating well into the leathery, meaty Sangiovese-dominant fruit.
