Domaine Arnoux & Fils, Vieux Clocher, Vacqueyras, 2013

This Vacqueyras property may extend to the border with Châteauneuf-du-Pape, but the two have little in common. This is light and fresh with plenty of vibrant red and black cherry and a hint of raspberry. Garrigue herbs and spice on the nose, but an uplifting freshness makes it very approachable.
