Hurley Vineyard

Andrew Jefford

Tasting: Tasmania & Victoria Pinot Noir

Clear deep red. Sonorous and long scents of great Pinot purity: super. Lovely poised, lively, smooth and elegant wine, with plenty of fruit depth. Just a little bit thrusting and sinewy at the very end, but this is still a hugely impressive example of Mornington Peninsula’s aptitude for this variety, for its softness and rightness, and of its aromatic length.

Roger Jones

Tasting: Tasmania & Victoria Pinot Noir

Smooth and seductive on nose, some violets and rose buds. Lingering on palate, good freshness and texture.

Alessandro Marchesan

Tasting: Tasmania & Victoria Pinot Noir

Ripe strawberries and vanilla oak on the nose. Silky and elegant with wonderful, elegant fruit on the palate. Long with a creamy strawberry aftertaste.
