Tasting: Volnay 1er Cru 2010

Fresh, dumb nose; Volnay delicacy, fresh but harmonious acidity, subtle tannin; long, ripe and gentle to taste, not a great deal of matter, but classic Volnay finesse, clear 1er cru scope, and good, light length. Very pretty.

Tasting: Volnay 1er Cru 2010

Fine deep colour. Nicely concentrated red fruits on the nose, well-concentrated berry fruits on the palate already showing a certain maturity but with good natural sweetness, quite ripe and some elegance, will show well mid-term.

Sebastian Thomas

Tasting: Volnay 1er Cru 2010

Attractive sour cherry nose. Very fine and ripe in the mouth, integrated, sweet, fine, silky fruit, fine elegant tannins, vibrant acidity, long fruity finish with a hint of minerals.
