Domaine Porto Carras, Melissanthi, 2012

  • Grape Variety: Assyrtiko, Roditis, Athiri
  • Drink: 2013 - 2016

Domaine Porto Carras

Sarah Jane Evans MW

Tasting: Greek Assyrtiko

Herbal, fennel, leafy and citrus on the nose. Palate is fresh, with a good balance of acidity. Full-bodied, with fine chalky tannin, this is well-structured. Fruit is not the driver here. Lean, mineral finish and well balanced.

Nico Manessis

Tasting: Greek Assyrtiko

Botanics. Fresh and zippy. Green tea, herbal and menthol-like. A refreshing aspect.

Igor Sotric

Tasting: Greek Assyrtiko

An expressive, crowd-pleasing blend of stone and tropical fruit, zesty acidity and chalky touches.
