Peter McCombie MW

Tasting: Marlborough Pinot Noir

Savoury evolution, baking spices, confit red fruit; warm, generous, smooth, just a little austere, with long dry finish.

Christine Parkinson

Tasting: Marlborough Pinot Noir

Sappy, raw fruit and leafy aromas. Bright red fruit character, with vegetal, mocha and clay notes. Very refreshing acidity. Tannins feel bony, as if there’s not quite enough flesh on the palate, but what’s there is attractive and food will help

Joanna Simon

Tasting: Marlborough Pinot Noir

Expressive nose – sweet fruit and some savoury, delicately gamey notes. Sweet, spicy, lifted palate. Has flesh, but also backbone, very delicate tannin. Balanced. Long, with sweet but clean palate.
