Santo Wines

Sarah Jane Evans MW

Tasting: Greek Assyrtiko

Aromatics reveal a creamy, honeyed richness, with a note of lemon preserve. The palate reflects the bitter sweetness of the lemon preserve, showing a complex balance, with a powerful acidity running through. Supple, well-managed intensity, very long and refreshing in a riper style. Just a characteristic lift of bitterness at the very end.

Nico Manessis

Tasting: Greek Assyrtiko

Angular but in a well-done rustic style.

Igor Sotric

Tasting: Greek Assyrtiko

Tropical flavours of melon and passion fruit, with mineral, stone fruit characters. In the mouth, peaches, apricot, with great length and structure.
