De Bortoli

Andrew Jefford

Tasting: Tasmania & Victoria Pinot Noir

Clear deep red; some bricking at the edges. Sweet fresh fruits, but some softly savoury complexities too. Lovely, overall; you want to keep going back to the glass. On the palate, it is deep, searching, vivid, quite sinewy, with plenty of spice-infused cherry and plum. Brisk and vivacious on the palate; in other words a little less languid than the aromatic profile suggested. Works very well.

Tasting: Tasmania & Victoria Pinot Noir

Velvety, clean lingering flavours, very delicate intense fruit, very feminine, luscious long and lingering. This to me tastes like a top Chambertin from Dujac; Outstanding.

Alessandro Marchesan

Tasting: Tasmania & Victoria Pinot Noir

Pronounced, complex and intense with ripe raspberries and vanilla oak on the nose. Structured and full bodied with dark berry fruit notes and a long aftertaste.
