JP Muller, Gewurztraminer, Grand Cru Steinklotz, 2012

This is labelled medium-sweet, but it certainly doesn't taste it thanks to the zippy acidity which refreshes the palate after every sip. Fragrant and exotic, it has flavours of nectarine, peach and orange zest, with a hint of honey on the finish. Pretty simple for a grand cru, and lacking the rose petal scents these Gewurztraminers are known for, but it's a delicious wine nonetheless.
