Marrans has 2ha in the village of Corcelette from which this wine is made. Ageing in foudres for 12 months has given it a bit of a woody character, alongside sweet, very ripe hedgerow fruit. There are some liquorice and tarmac notes on the finish. It's quite a light wine, lifted by some violet and floral hints.
