Château l’Argentier, Languedoc, 2011

90
Tasted by: Vahan Agulian
Very old vineyards planted between 1900 and 1933 produce the fruit for this typical southern French blend of Syrah, Grenache and Carignan. The wine hasn't touched any oak, which enables the fruit to shine. Light aromas of red cherry and plum lead into a rich and savoury palate with meaty undertones. Very easy to drink and beautifully balanced.
