This long-established Sancerre domaine – one of the oldest in the region – works organically and biodynamically, farming 56 hectares of vines, 80% Sauvignon Blanc and 20% Pinot Noir. This is textbook Sancerre, with notes of lemon citrus and fresh-cut grass, herby, smoky and almost peppery, with depth and restraint. A great gastronomic style and the antithesis of many over-the-top New World styles of Sauvignon Blanc.
