Has a lightness of touch and a briskness that makes for a very drinkable wine. Very impressive for what is a hit-and-miss appellation, especially for this price. Brambly, with good acidity, and an authentic feel. Good tannic structure too – it’s clearly defined, not overly thick. Great value.
