Cantina Orsogna, Mallorio, Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, 2013

90
Tasted by: Vahan Agulian
These Montepulciano grapes are grown at an altitude of 450 metres in the foothills of the Maiella range. Aromas of black cherry, violets and spice give this wine an exotic feel, with more than a hint of Turkish delight about it. The palate is full of concentrated plum, berries and chocolate, and the finish is long and moreish.
