Barbera is a more cuddly grape than Nebbiolo, making wines that are easy-drinking and less serious. This example has an intense, vibrant cherry character, with tons of fresh acidity and fine tannins. The finish is long and tangy. Try with spaghetti bolognese for a mid-week treat.
