A really super buy for a magnum of this quality. Made by the Bartoli family for The Wine Society, the Sangiovese grapes come from 20ha of estate-grown vineyards at 300m in San Casciano. This forward and approachable vintage showcases firm yet ripe cherry fruit and fresh acidity on a supple, silky, leathery palate. Great depth and balance – a classy dinner party winner.
