This saignée-method rosé is limited release as it’s only produced in the best vintages. Ridgeview describes its house style as 'fresh and fruity' and that's demonstrated here in spades. Delicate rose-petal pink in the glass, this is fairly taut on the nose, but take a sip and you'll find an attractive weight of summer fruits, red berry freshness and some toastiness from the cellaring.

This starts with a very attractive nose of cox’s apple and pomegranate. It feels very young and a little tight on the palate. The lees and the fruit haven't quite resolved with each other, and the finish is still a little raw.
