A dark nose, espresso, herbal accents, quite savoury, deep and heady. Juicy and supple, well controlled and balanced, tannins are ripe and on the gently plush side with tobacco, vanilla, cherry and blackcurrant fruit. I like the grip and the aromatic expression, easy to drink and very enjoyable. Harvest 16 September - 6 October. Ageing 18 months; 30% new barrels, 50% one wine. Derenoncourt consultants.
