This steel-vinified and concrete-matured Merlot (with just a dash of Sangiovese) is sourced from 3ha in a cool, late-ripening area. Violets and crunchy green aromas are followed in the mouth by big mouthcoating tannins and a wave of freshening acidity. Sapid red and black fruits, with a hint of blueberries, carry through to a long finish.
