This second wine of the château is 80% Merlot bolstered by the two Cabernets, and spends 18 months in one year old barrels. Owned by Stephan von Neipperg of La Mondotte and Canon La Gaffelière in St-Emilion, it is supple and well-made, showing round, savoury red fruit.
