
Kyle Schlachter
Kyle Schlachter is a wine writer based in Colorado. He describes himself as a ‘wine industry expert with a strong background in earth sciences’, referring to his degree in Environmental Science and Masters in Geography. In addition, he is one of the Society of Wine Educators’ certified specialists of wine and is also a wine location specialist, certified by the Centre for Wine Origins. He is the founder and editor of Colorado Wine Press, a website that publishes content that’s focused on – but not limited to – the Colorado wine scene. Since 2010, Kyle has worked as the Outreach Coordinator for the Colorado Wine Industry Development Board at the Colorado Department of Agriculture. In November 2017, Kyle was elected to a two-year at-large term on the Littleton City Council.
