
Susy Atkins
Susy Atkins is an award-winning wine and drinks writer, presenter and broadcaster. She is the long-standing weekly drinks columnist for The Sunday Telegraph and the wine editor of Delicious magazine, as well as a freelance contributor to many other publications.
Susy is the author of 11 books on wine and drinks and is well-known for her many appearances on TV and radio, including a 12-year stint as a regular wine expert on BBC1’s flagship cookery show ‘Saturday Kitchen’. She works with the Three Wine Men team regularly presenting live and virtual tasting events.
She has been awarded both Glenfiddich and Champagne Lanson awards for her wine writing and in 2004 she was named The International Wine & Spirits Competition Communicator of the Year. In
2012 she won a Food & Travel magazine reader’s award for her writing and in 2016 she was named Rioja Wines’ Communicator of the Year.
Susy lives in Devon and counts English wine as one of her areas of special expertise and is a panel chair for the IEWA (Independent English Wine Awards).
