Alberto Antonini is co-owner and winemaker at this 216 hectare estate where Malbec is the specialty. The gentle black forest fruit offers great vibrancy and minerality and isn't masked by the oak (3,500L untoasted foudres for 18 months). Suave and complex.

Another superb offering from the Appellation series by this excellent Malbec specialist. From the high altitude of Altamira, this is tightly wound, with gorgeous dark fruits, graphite and a tantalising saline, mineral finish.
