Don Tiburcio Benegas was a pioneer of Argentinian wine, honoured in this Bordeaux blend made by his great great grandson, Federico Benegas-Lynch, along with consultant Michel Rolland. The Malbec is from 1,450m, while the Bordeaux grapes hail from from Finca Libertad, a 40 hectare vineyard at 850m first planted by Don Tiburcio himself in 1880. This is a polished wine boasting rich black fruits supported by herbal acidity, supple tannins and vanilla and oak spice from 12 months in oak.
