Incorporating some old vine fruit from the famed Finca Los Nobles vineyard in Luján de Cuyo, this blend of the two Cabernets plus some Merlot has a spiced nose with distinct graphite and ferrous notes. It has intense dark fruit and earth on the palate. and although the alcohol is present, it is balanced by tannins and zippy acidity. The 15% of Cabernet Franc lifts the wine nicely.
