Masi employ the traditional appassimento method on fruit grown in Mendoza to produce this blend of Corvina and Malbec. It's still displaying youthful exuberance, with grippy, up-front tannins, a lick of vanilla and a solid core of perfectly ripe hedgerow fruit. There's certainly enough structure and complexity to guarantee further development. Rounds off with a lingering menthol note on the finish.
