Plush black fruit aromas, edged in violets. Smooth attack; a core of rich black fruit wrapped in peppery spice, with a savoury undertone and some brighter red fruit notes. Judicious oaking (12 months in 50% new French oak and 50% second-use French oak) gives polished, structural tannins. Finishes, long, fresh and spicy.
