Trivento, Reserve Malbec, Mendoza, Argentina, 2019

This Malbec is cracking value. Fruity aromas – ripe black cherry, blackberres and blueberries – edged in spice. Much more spice on the palate, with juicy black fruit, rounded tannins and plenty of freshness. Careful oaking (just 20% of the wine is aged in French and American oak for six months) lets the fruit shine. A real crowd-pleaser for the money.
